In reply to Kari. Hi Kari. I've never tried to double it but I think it would depend on the size of your slow cooker. I would think you would be fine as long as its big enough, but do allow for a little more cook time if needed.

I followed this recipe exact and it came out delicious. So cheesy and creamy. Served up with some bread and my family devoured it. This will definitely be added to our rotation.

In reply to Melissa. Hi Melissa. Yes, the broth should thicken. You can also cook the last bit with the lid off if needed to help. You can use corn starch to thicken, but I don't think you will need to.

Will the broth thicken up in the half hour time after pouring the cheese mixture in?? If not can I use cornstarch to thicken it if it doesn’t?
